Choose Between Two Options

• €79 for a 30-minute flight experience over Wicklow with a 15-minute safety briefing 
• €99 for a 45-minute flight experience over Wicklow with a 15-minute safety briefing

Following a 15-minute preparatory session, aspiring aviators can take to the skies for a 30- or 45-minute flight in one of the Wicklow Wings’ club aircrafts. The flight will take in picturesque views of the Wicklow Hills countryside and coastline, where pupils will be able to take the controls under the experienced pilot’s watchful eye.

Newcastle Airfield

Home to Wicklow wings, Newcastle Airfield is located on the scenic East Coast, around a 40-minute drive from Dublin. The airfield is home to an impressive fleet of both vintage and modern aircraft, including microlight, taildragger, fixed wing and rotary models. A range of classes are offered, with tuition available in microlight/flexwing, fixed wing and helicopter craft, in addition to search and rescue training, and flights run until 8pm daily.
