G What’s the story behind your riding school? “Thornton Park Equestrian Centre is a purposebuilt, modern equestrian centre situated on 30 acres of grasslands in Kilsallaghan, Swords. The facility was designed and developed from a green field site in 1990 to complement our horses’ and riders’ equestrian needs. G What do lessons cover? “We specialise in providing top class, qualified tuition for all horse riding levels from nervous beginners to experienced riders, and for both children and adults. We also provide a livery service, training programmes and workshops.” G What facilities does the centre have? “Our horse riding facilities include a large indoor arena and two floodlit outdoor arenas, as well as American barn stabling for 50 horses, a lunge menage, solarium, lecture room, coffee bar and cafe.” G What experience do the instructors have? “Our BHS qualified instructors have extensive equestrian management skills and specialise in dressage, show jumping, and examination training for upcoming instructors.”
