About This Deal
Cuddling up to the hillside as they peer over the bay of their namesake, this cluster of cottages offers a warm and cosy homecoming from adrenaline fuelled and fastpaced days. Hit the water running with today’s Groupon from The Oysterhaven Centre • €749 for a seven night stay for up to six people Up to 53% off From Saturday 25 August to Saturday 1 September in a selfcatering cottage, plus fiveday summer activity camp for two kids, and taster activities for adults The Centre This familyrun seaside centre gets little ‘uns and big kids alike frolicking in the placid waters of Oysterhaven Bay, a slice of Celtic Sea cuddled by the headland. Each threebedroomed cottage offers views over the bay and rural surrounds, and while an open plan living area leads to a kitchen, a barbecue beckons from the patio area on sunny days. As splashhappy activities keep teams on their toes with dinghy sailing and windsurfing, those who prefer dry land underfoot can take to the private tennis courts. Groupon Recommends Get the kids enrolled on a fiveday summer camp, allowing separate groups to get involved with ageappropriate aqua adventuring. As four to five year olds embark on rock pool exploration, canoeing, and an introduction to surfboards, the 14 to 17 age group sail and windsurf through the week to finish with a seakayaking daytrip, with ageappropriate activities for all children in between. Adults can get involved with a taster session each, so get wetsuited and booted for two and a half hours of windsurf splashing, sea kayaking, or set sail to unlock the secrets of dingy sailing. For a spot of relaxation, take around a 15 minute drive to Kinsale, where teeny winding streets lead to ancient forts and castles, as well as restaurants and wine bars for grownup revels.
