Not suitable for pregnant women and those suffering from contagious diseases, skin diseases, un-diagnosed lumps and bumps, localised swelling, inflammation, acute varicose veins, haematoma, hernia, epilepsy, high blood pressure, heart and cardiovascular conditions, broken bones, open cuts, bruises and sunburn. Other conditions already being treated by a GP or consultant require medical permission from the practitioner prior to treatment. For best results a course of 3 sessions per week for 4 -6 weeks is recommended. It needs to be combined with healthy diet and physical activity. Please wear tight clothes (e.g leggings and long sleeved blouse), tie up your hair, wear socks, drink at least 2 glasses of water and have a light meal beforehand and do not wear any jewellery.
