The Tour
The coach leaves Dublin from Paddy’s Palace on Lower Gardiner Street just after 8am and heads towards Connemara, with a stop at the village of Cong. Surrounded by dramatic scenery, visitors will be able to explore the Augustinian ruins of Cong Abbey before heading for a photo opportunity at Lough Corrib, the lake with 365 little islands, and exploring more of Connemara’s lakes, valleys, and mountainous scenery. Participants may even see fishermen in their traditional lobster fishing attire. The bus will then travel towards Galway via the coastal road, with two hours given over to activities like seeing the Spanish Arch, shopping, or sampling the street music and Galway Bay oysters. The coach will then head back towards Dublin, looking to arrive at between 8pm and 8.30pm, with tickets available for adults (usually €36.21 per person) or families.
