The Specifics
- Brugmansias have large topical-looking flowers that hang down like trumpets
- Each flower can be up to 35cm (14”) long
- Easy to grow
- Perfect for large containers or planted directly in the garden
- May grow as tall as three metres in its second year following a mild winter but can be much smaller by pruning
- Can start flowering when only around 60cm (2 feet) or less in height
- Use a good quality compost when planting and feed heavily in the growing season
- Planted in the ground they will do best in a spot that is well drained
- After frosts new growth appears usually in early May and grows quickly
- Container-grown plants should be moved indoors for the winter and may continue to flower inside
- Supplied as flowering size plants in 9cm square pots
- Collection includes three plants in different colours - white, yellow and pink
