• Known as Sempervivum these evergreen succulents form dense rosettes of foliage
• Ideal for creating a living carpet in a garden
• Range of forms and colours, with some even covered in spidery webbing
• In summer mature rosettes may produce panicles of star-shaped flowers
• Although individual rosettes die after flowering, they are swiftly replaced by small offsets which quickly fill the gap
• Commonly known as Houseleeks, these hardy perennials are extremely drought tolerant once established
• Ideal for planting in wall crevices, rockeries and alpine troughs, growing in a greenhouse or conservatory
• Ready to plant in final position in sharply drained, gritty soil in full sun
• Hairy species particularly resent cold, wet conditions and are best provided with some protection from winter weather
• Suitable for patio, low maintenance garden, specimen plant, woodland garden
• At maturity expect a height of 8cm and spread of 30cm
• Plants supplied in 5.5cm nursery pots (approx. height 3-4cm low growing)
