Voyagers can set sail with Dublin Bay Cruises (usually €22) and take in the sights and sounds of the bay in a choice of one-way tour that sails sets of from a choice of East Pier Dun Laoghaire, West Pier Howth and Sir John Rogerson’s Quay in the Dublin city centre. In addition to the many eye-pleasing vistas of Dublin’s seaside towns and villages, passengers have the added thrill of possibly catching a glimpse of the grey seals, bottlenose dolphins and rare bird species like puffins that inhabit the area. The heated passenger cabin keeps everyone warm in the case of cold weather, and babies under 12 months can ride for free. The Groupon price also includes a DART train voucher (€2) which entitles passengers to travel between any station on the Dun Laoghaire - Howth - Dun Laoghaire route, helping to turn the one-way boat journey into more of a round trip.
