About Colclough Walled Garden
Built over 200 years ago, Colclough Walled Garden occupies 2.5 acres of former Tintern Abbey grounds, boasting a painstakingly restored layout and picturesque stone and brick lanes. The area is split into two sections called Ornamental and Kitchen Garden, and features a natural boundary in the form of a river, which is crossed by five bridges. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll enjoying the woodland shade and cool breeze coming off the flowing water, while reflecting upon the history and admiring the man-made floral compositions.
