The Deal

A selection of courses from Chevron Training aim to provide insight into various areas of education, childcare and support. Each course (usually €295) includes around 30 hours worth of teaching materials, with assignments to be submitted online and a final exam to be taken on a weekend at a classroom in Cork, Dublin or Galway. Successful completion grants a CAS Award, which can contribute to a FETAC level five major award in Early Childhood Care and Education (5M2009). PEL arrangements are in place, for details see here.

The Merchant

Chevron Training provides a range of courses across Ireland. Modules on offer cover areas as varied as care, servicing and installing, renewable energy, IT, electrics and plumbing. Several courses offer accreditation or qualifications upon completion, with some courses covering more transferable skills such as first aid or activities coordination.
