The Deal

This hearty dinner allows diners to select any starter from the a la carte menu, with mussels up for grabs (usually €6.50) or a terrine of wild game served with homebaked bread and a fig and whisky chutney (€7.50). The main event features an 8oz Hereford sirloin steak served with hand-cut chips, sauteed mushrooms and a choice of pepper sauce, garlic butter or mushroom sauce (€19.95). Those feeling a little less carnivorous can opt for any other main on the menu, while anyone up for a challenge can take on a larger steak for a supplement. Guests can also choose to toast their meal with a glass of wine or beer each (up to €5).
