About Bunratty Castle and Folk Park

Situated in the heart of County Clare, Bunratty Castle is a 15th-century tower house belonging to the Shannon Heritage. Restored in 1954, the venue features authentic furnishing, tapestry and works of art, and invites visitors to feel the atmosphere of medieval times. Neighbouring Folk Park dates back to the 19th century and boasts a living reconstruction of the Irish homes of that time. The villages are set on 26 acres of the local countryside.
