About LauraLynn - Ireland’s Children’s Hospice

LauraLynn Children’s Hospice has provided care and support for almost 300 children with life-limiting conditions and their families since it opened in 2011. They offer short breaks, crisis, home support, transitional and end-of-life care through their hospice and home services. The team has a holistic approach, offering a complete range of support including physiotherapy, play and music therapy, as well as memory making activities, family and sibling camps. They need to raise €3.5m in 2016 to keep the hospice services running and rely 100% on their supporters for this funding. Almost 4,000 children in Ireland are living with a life-limiting condition, 320 of whom tragically pass away each year and 70% of whom die in their first year of life.
