Who doesn’t love Instagram, the phone application that makes your pictures look vintage and artsy, thanks to its gorgeous filters? Instagram is a great way to make your friends jealous and show off your delicious meals out. It’s hard to resist sharing a picture of brunch, cocktails or anything that looks pretty on picture. There are plenty of places in Dublin that serve up Instagram worthy food and drink so we’ve compiled a list of the best ones, just for you. Get ready to snap!
Ladurée
If you ask us, there is no prettier food to Instagram than a perfect French macaron with a colourful meringue shell. The Ladurée tea room, located on South William Street brings you straight to Paris as soon as you step through the door. Everything is so beautiful that you’ll want to take hundreds of pictures, from the colourful macaroon display to the most delicious of hot chocolates.
Ladurée, 1-3 South William Street, Dublin 2
The Fumbally
The Fumbally café has been a home to Dublin’s hipsters for a few years now so it’s no wonder that their food features regularly on Instagram. The bearded staff, the display of fresh fruit and veg, mismatched furniture, a blackboard with a quote and every detail so stylish it hurts! What’s more, the food is delicious and also well worth taking a picture of!
The Fumbally, Fumbally lane, Dublin 8
Wow Burger
One of the most liked foods on Instagram is a burger, preferably a greasy one with a shiny bun, juicy meat and gooey cheese. Sure to make people envious, there is no better place in Dublin to take a picture to show off a delicious burger than Wow Burger. This little gem is hidden in the smoking area of the Workman’s Club and serves the most delicious burgers. The setup is pretty cool with a yellow and red colour scheme, bricked walls and probably one of the most instagrammed neon signs in Dublin.
Wow Burger, 11 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2
The Pepperpot
It’s like everything in the Pepperpot in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre is placed there for the perfect Instagram shot. The pretty tablecothes, the cute little flowers, the vintage plates and the delicious food, the Pepperpot is surely in one of the prettiest locations in Dublin and ideal for a brunch or lunch date. We’re guilty of Instagramming their bacon sandwich more than once!
